We Love Dawn Blog Hop - Peaceful Pinecones

I'm back today sharing another card that I made for the We Love You Dawn Blog Hop over at Papertrey Ink. Today I'm using one of my most very favourite holiday stamps of them all - Peaceful Pinecones. I would rate this set as either my #1, #2 or #3 all-time favourite, depending on what time of day you ask me. It's a classic, timeless one that I can't imagine ever getting tired of ...

One of the things that Dawn has taught me to love is stamping on coloured cardstock. Here I did an ombré effect, stamping my bottom pinecone branch onto Sweet Blush and my top branch onto Lovely Lady cardstocks. I love the warmth and vintage vibe that it adds to my card. I stamped a partial background on my card front using a Prima Marketing musical notes stamp and then finished it up with a holiday die cut from PTI that I really like, Holiday Double Cuts.

I just saw a beautiful photo on Instagram of Dawn sitting up in her hospital bed, "enjoying" some broth. This is such a huge step for her and it makes me so happy. I'm praying every day and sending lots of good wishes that she gets to become an outpatient by this weekend, which is a possibility!

  1. Love this card, Diana! I like the "pink" that you used for your pine cones! And, I smile every time I see you using that Noel die - you wanted that SO badly!!

  2. The pink card stock colors work beautifully with your pine boughs! Such a lovely card with the musical background and Noel word.

  3. I love those word dies but haven't gotten them yet. This is another gorgeous card and Peaceful pinecones is on my list for this week of the Blog Hop.

  4. Another Diana classic card! Simply gorgeous, girl! Love it.

  5. Love your card, Diana! Dawn is going to be tickled pink with your stamping on colored card stock using her Peaceful Pinecones. You know just what to do to raise her spirits.

  6. This is fabulous, Diana. Dawn will love it.
